Do my guests need an account?
No. Guests just open the invite link. No app-store download, no login, no password. Access expires automatically on the check-out date.
How do I set up my home in Inventary?
You note where things are and create info pages — Wi-Fi, house rules, appliance manuals, places nearby. Optionally document locations and items with photos. On the Pro plan, our AI analyses your photos, marks the items and automatically creates tags for you. You can edit, add or delete anything at any time.
Can I bring over the guest guide I already have?
Yes. On the Pro plan, upload it as a PDF or Word file. The AI pulls out house rules, Wi-Fi details, appliances and recommendations and turns them into proposed info pages. You review every proposal, correct anything that's off and accept it with a click — after that everything is translated into 12 languages automatically.
What happens when something breaks?
Your guest reports the damage right in the app — with a description, photos and the room it happened in. You settle it in a message thread that is translated into each of your languages automatically. The finished report exports as a PDF, for your insurer or the deposit.
Where do the AI answers come from?
Only from what you entered yourself. When a guest asks a question, Inventary searches your inventory and your info pages and writes an answer from them — together with the pages it is based on. If there's nothing to go on, the app says so instead of inventing something. Access details such as Wi-Fi passwords and PINs are never passed to the AI.
Which languages does Inventary support?
12 languages including English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Turkish, Japanese and Chinese. Translation is automatic and fully reviewable.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Europe. All data is subject to GDPR. We use no Google Analytics, no tracking, no advertising cookies.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. You start with a free trial — 7 days on monthly billing, 14 days on yearly. After that, the monthly plan can be cancelled at the end of any month and the yearly plan at the end of the term.
